Award ceremony for innovative forestry technology

The Kuratorium für Waldarbeit und Forsttechnik e.V. invites to the 18th KWF conference, again its innovation competition. At the moment we are planning HOW the innovation award will take place under the given hygiene regulations.

For the 18th time the KWF is organizing the KWF Tagung in the forests of Germany to inform about the newest technology and to exchange knowledge with different organizations and members in the branch.  The world`s greatest forest technology event which is being held every four years will take place in the centre of Europe, in the forests of Schwarzenborn / Hessen.
The KWF is a semigovernmental, practice-oriented research institution for forestry technology and safety.
We operate nationwide and transnationally to examine and evaluate forestry technology, tools and forestry equipment, as well as protective equipment and work procedures. The positive result of our testing of forestry technology ist he KWF seal award for safety and quality. Our focus is on safe forest work, innovative forestry technology and ecologically compatible processes as well as high efficiency in the logistics chain and sustainability of forests from a human point of view. We coordinate and lead international projects, have close cooperations with research facilities and set standards. As a partner of national and international fairs the KWF advises and organizes special exhibitions. For more than 50 years, the KWF has been providing specialist forestry information through an unique interdisciplinary network of experts.
